Pro Applications Certification
Differentiate yourself to employers, and prospective clients as an Apple Certified Pro, and gain a competitive edge in the ever-changing job market. Apple certification programs create a benchmark for assessing users' proficiency in Apple's professional applications.
By passing certification exams, you become an Apple Certified Pro for a chosen application. You can then follow the path to Master Pro Certification by passing additional required exams. Or become certified to deliver Appleās curriculum as an Apple Certified Trainer or Master Trainer. The possibilities are endless.
Apple Certified Pro Certification
To become an Apple Certified Pro, you must pass an exam at an Apple Authorized Training Center (AATC). Level One certification attests to basic operational knowledge of the application. Level One exams are administered at the end of specific courses. If you prefer to learn on your own or believe you already have the required knowledge, you may take the exam at an AATC for a fee.
Want to test how much you know? A Practice Exam is available to help you assess your knowledge and prepare for the Final Cut Pro Level One exam.
Level Two certification attests to a deeper understanding of the application. Level Two exams can be taken only in conjunction with the associated advanced classes taught at AATCs. To register for an exam, please contact an AATC near you.
Apple Certified Master Pro and Master Trainer Certifications
Apple offers both end user and trainer versions of the Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio Master certifications. Master certification recognizes your skills with an entire product suite. Since workflow is such a significant component of both Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio, each curriculum requires you to earn certification in multiple applications, as outlined in the tables below. Certifications are version-based for each application. As exam versions are retired, candidates need to re-certify on the new versions to keep their Master Certification current.
Apple Certified Trainer Certification
The Apple Certified Trainer Program trains and tests qualified industry professionals to deliver Apple's Pro applications certified curriculum. Certified trainers work with Apple Authorized Training Centers to deliver courses to end users. To become an Apple Certified Trainer, candidates must submit an application. Once the application is accepted, candidates must attend a Train-the-Trainer course and pass the associated trainer exam.
